  • The Zathustra story about the leeches where the man wants to know the leeches is about his compassion for the leeches. Since he brought that up as a reason to choose the leech as something to dissect and actually pull every neuron out of while alive:

    The scientist is either a highly intellectually educated moron, or he would just as well do the same thing to a human if he could and he wants to show the world that he has no compassion.
