Space Ship

Importing three seperate files.
The earth image
The personalized background image,
The spaceship.

I began with placing the background on the composition. Scaling this to make a good fit.

The dragging the earth image onto the composition, and key pointing the scale change. (beginning with a bigger scale to a smaller over a certain amount of frames) giving the impression of a quick zoom out from the earth. I also altered the scale speed using the graph editor to have an increased zoom out.

I then inserted the spaceship onto the background and using a position key made it travel from left to right (infront of the earth) over a time of 1 sec.

To give the spaceship more 3D effect, I used the scaling tools, to key point the spaceship in is starting scale, moving it to the center (over the earth) enlarging it, and the copying the start key and placing it at the end position.

I then did the same, but revered, so the spaceship appeared to be moving away when travelling in a full loop. This is meant to be behind the earth, but was not as of yet. To make the spaceship disappear behind the earth, using the split layer function. (edit menu)
Selecting the spaceship layer, and then selecting 'split layer' the layer the gets split at the position in which it is placed. This split layer HAD to go underneath the earth layer on the timeline, as it needed to be covered by the earth. However, this was not to be put behind the background, as the layer would have disappeared.

Adding a motion blur to the spaceship made it more realistic movements, and also, I added an audio sound that built u as the spaceship got larger in scale, and quieter when it was smaller in scale.
