Mifflintown Airport Kart Test.mpeg

We had 4 or 5 Karts at the Airport to test a track layout and at the end of the 1 hr. session . C.A.R.T / Boyer Racing ended up with a 17 / 61 on but only reved 6700 . They felt like they could have gone up a few teeth .Another crew ran a 17 / 66 and turned 7000 with their flathead but thought a 65 tooth would have worked just a tad better . The Tires were Firestones , Dunlop, Burris 55s and Maxxis, all had plenty of grip on the cold track ,about 60 deg. in the sun . All the drivers said they were breaking hard at the end of the runway and at the bottom of the downhill. We were all pleased with the results . and I wish to thank those who took part in the test .

This race was the best back in the 80's. Great racing.
