i kno for sure u can use xp OS and the files in black edition are probably the same as the normal OS xp so i guess try and figure it out i got xp b sure to make a system restoreif u think ur gunna mess up something but if thts not ur question ur not changing ur OS when u change the colors ur just changing the look of it

yea should be able to ive seen a pretty slow computer be able to run it you just need enough hard drive space to hold the download its not much
