We caught up with Mr. Bobby Lewis in San Antonio at the Rose Palace during the final AQHA show of the 2009 qualifying year.
We talked calf roping horses. In particular, we discussed the Namgis Quarter Horses sire, Bucks Hancock Dude. Namgis Quarter Horses is the new roping horse and barrel horse operation in Hondo, TX founded by retired AT&T CEO, Stan Sigman.
The interview was conducted by James O'Brien of RanchForeman.com. This interview was conducted in the quietest room we could find at a horse show. Please forgive the less than stellar audio quality. The full transcript can be read by going to http://www.namgisquarterhorses.com
Bobby Lewis was a very gracious participant in this interview. I just want to thank him for taking the time to sit down and visit with me about the Namgis stud known as Dude.
He said he was a very nice horse and that he enjoys getting the chance to talk about the great ones he's ridden, but I know he was busy and we still appreciate him taking the time out of his show schedule.
