I'm the webmaster of the official Mekong Delta Thrash Pages (mekongdelta.eu). This a videorecording of the song 'The Hut of Baba Yaga' by the progressive metal project Mekong Delta. This recording was done in 1990 in Vienna, Austria. Bassplayer/Songwriter Ralf Hubert has personally given permission to show you this track.

Thanks for uploading...I have 2 albums..but they are all bootleg albums..because there was no licensed album in Korea about 20 years ago...anyway, I'm really happy to see this band for the first time~!

I named my panda toy "mekong" because it sounds Chinese, I never heard of Mekong Delta until I bother to searched it on youtube. I can say, I have a good catch.

@azirru Mekong is the name of a river in Asia that runs from China, through Burma, Laos, Thailand, Cambodia and Vietman. The area where the river runs into the Pacific Ocean is called: the Mekong Delta. That's where this band got their name from.

Have they ever done a cover of "The Great Gates of Kiev?"
I'd like to see a metal version of it.

They have recorded the entire 'Pictures at an Exhibition' in 1996, but I have never heard or seen them play 'The heroic gate (in the old capital of Kiev)' live.
