  • This man is one of the greatest voice talents in the world PERIOD. He proved that the voice and our bodies are MORE than enough to make phenomenally awesome music. He should be the standard of measurement for a vocalist's versatility and creativity! A shame that he is most widely known for 'Don't Worry Be Happy'. He is so, so, SO much more!!!!

  • I like his version of this titled "concert solo" better, but this is still awesome. It seems he only gets better with time. A true entertainer, and a true musician. Respect.

  • @drzozzy Let me get this straight, the audience clapped & cheered over the top of a fantastically good performance because a pile of poo was being swept onto an adjacent stage?

  • @1hoytema He definitely can still sing like this! Check out "Bobby McFerrin - Drive (later 27/04/10) " here in youtube.

  • i was there the night this was filmed, i was rappin on there, we performed just before bobby, he is a realy nice guy, had time to chat with us and even performed for us in the green room,

  • @McLeod54 I also always wondered why the guy in the white jacket was looking around. If I was that close to Mr. McPerlin I would not be able to look away. Oh, by the way, see you in a couple days Dan.

  • At the end I thought he was playing a guitar

  • Amazing track - Bobby is truely gifted - one of my best. Don't know how people could possibly cheer for Bon Jovi when this is going on - but Bobby takes it in his stride - perhaps he would have gone a bit bit more if it wasn't for people's rudeness, nevertheless, amazing

  • @drzozzy Yeah, I remember this. I felt so sorry for him when the Bon bloody Jovi fans started up.. how rude of them. He really inspired me at the time because I was a bass singer in an acapella group. He 'showed' me that it was possible to be inventive and try different techniques of using your voice. The original 'beat boxer' if you ask me.

  • @dms2127 Thanks for the info. I will always love this song!

  • @ginnyann he didn't grow the dreads until later. He sounds better without them because he is younger. The voice ages. Check out his classical stuff if you're into that (i.e. Ave Maria, Bach Partita, etc) Also his appearance on Sesame Street is cool.

  • @rapbestone Drive away uuublebebubbee
