A500 Battle Squadron - Intro + Demo

My very first Amiga game!

In fact,I bought it even before I had my Amiga 500. This 1989 spiritual sucessor to Hybris had everything: Great graphics, good gameplay, amazing music... it truly was an arcade @ home experience. The two player coop mode made this even sweeter.

It was later converted to Sega Megadrive/Genesis by EA, in 1992.

"Welcome to Battle Squadron!" I loved this game, and the song! I remember hooking my Amiga up to my stereo and recording this song on an audio cassette. That and all the music from Shadow of the Beast that I could get to hear before the game wasted me. :D

It didn't get much better than this game during the Amiga empire, playability, graphics, sounds and music were all perfecto.

Computergames rock so much harder back then. Not all the realism to worry about, it was just about the action!
