larryzapeye brings you some Santa Anita action at the start of the 2009-2010 winter meeting...seen her is Take Control out of the great racemare Azeri, by A. P. Indy- he cost 1.9 million at Keeneland...narrated by Larry Zap...enjoy
@1800s:Second & third place, you'll never remember. But just to refresh your memory, Musket Man lost to the "General" in the Sam F. Davis! What did Musket Man do in the Derby? What did General Quarters do in the Derby? If you were the owner of Uptowncharlybrown will you run the Tampa Bay Derby? or will you throw in the towel because he ran a "lousy to you" 3rd in the Davis?
I'm not all that impressed to be honest. His pedigree is something not to mess with but physically not so great. I think he wasn't even the favorite in this race and you would think so, that has to say a lot. Just take a look and search for a horse named "UPTOWNCHARLYBROWN". Broke his maiden at Tampa going 61/2 and won impressively. If this is a contender for the 2010 Kentucky Derby than "Uptowncharlybrown" is my pick!
He is very handsome. I can picture him winning the Kentucky Derby. Did you see his tail? Its short, but I like how it flows, and he was holding it like an Arabian after won! I was sure he'd loose but that was amazing! 5 stars!
He was only 1 year and 9/10 months in this. Meaning that he wouldn't be in the Derby THIS year, it'd be NEXT year, 2011.

Big move for a first time starter, in behind horses, the colt has alot of poise and a closing kick.

Beautiful colt by Azeri and A.P Indy. I'll be looking for him in the KY Derby.

Wish I could've been there, but there's always next time. I've seen him a lot in the mornings, anyways.
