bet that cost a pretty penny

the toyota tundra cannot handle the weight of a boss v-plow... you really need a 3/4 ton pickup if you want one...

@lambejr1 The smartlock cylinders are, however, a 200-300 dollar added option, where as western/fisher come standard with them. The wings will fold back much more easily without the smartlocks installed.

in my own opinion the chevy's are the most comfortable and they are really nice trucks. btw the chevy's are the only that they put a 9' plow on. the fords are not so good.. i would rather drive they'r 97 chevy then they'r 2008 f350 powerstroke. they spent more time in the shop then on the lots.

the company i plow for has 2 f250s 2 f350s and 5 chevy 2500s and 2 ram 2500s. from my personal opinion plowing in those trucks i would have to say one of the rams is 2001 gasser and godamn that truck does not give out or break down for nothing. i own a 2004 3500 dually cummins and it is one strong and reliable truck btw. as far as the chevy's well...they have 5 of them so...yea they get the job done with ease, most of the chevy's have over 250k miles on them and most are gassers too. in

@06HDBOSS need something bigger than that will wear out ur front end in two years, dont really care for the boss v have three and took them off all my trucks
-
@06HDBOSS hey how does that plow in the snow? is it good?
-
i see that some guys think v plows arent good cuz they have a tendency to fold when u back drag or hit somethin, but the boss doesent i plow with the same blad and have hit things it moves the truck before it folds the wings. i think the boss is the only blade that wont because of the smartlock cylinders

@blaster696969 He put it on his Visa card! LOL...

Great video folks. We've added it to the official BOSS Snowplows YouTube Channel playlist. It will be also viewable on BOSS' Facebook page: the BOSS Snowplow

i have already beeped my horn with my forehead by tripping them..lol..we have both straight and V plows at our company..even a straight blade with 3 foot wings on each end that can angle 90 degrees (we only have 2 on very heavy duty trucks cuz they are massive and heavy) but you can't beat a V plow in tight spots and can't pile snow as high with a straight blade although when i have to back drag wish i had a straight blade cuz they work way better
-
I use one these almost daily for my company..actually been living in my fuckin plow truck it's gettin old..lol. But the V plow and Straight blad have there advantages/disadvantages. When it comes to backdragging a straight plow hands down is better because the wings of a V plow will sometimes push out but you can also pile snow higher with a V plow in it's "scoop" position. I have used both but a V plow to me is so much better and faster plus you can really get into those tight spots better
what kinda truck does your friend use for that plow?

The 9'2 isnt my plow. Its my friends, i was just trying it on to see how the truck would hold it. Come to find out it only weighs 50lbs more than my 8' superduty tripedge. You really need a 1ton dually or better to handle that 9'2.
