This tutorial is to show the power of shared unit control as well as going the strongest rushing builds for each race.

My friends YouTube channel: http://www.youtube.com/SquigglesStarcraft

The best builds (in my opinion) for each race are as follows:

Terran (3 Barracks - Tutorial video on my channel)
Protoss (4 Warpgates - Tutorial video on my channel)
Zerg (9 or 10 pool - Constant speed upgraded Zerglings)

Any combination of the races can easily work for this rush. The only one that isnt as powerful I would say is double Protoss, as mass Maraders can easily crush you. Doing this against double Terran can be difficult as they can both wall in.

Works best on maps with a back door entrance.

Let me know what you guys thinks!

  • this is why gutterhulk was removed from the map pool

  • @BerryTC good vs protoss, not so good against other things, a better zealot tactic in PvP would be getting one assimilator after first gateway and a cybernetics, while playing it defensively and seeing what the opponent has, incase this wont work (e.g dark templar cheese/ mass void rays) after cybernetics, you should build more gateways (up to 4) and a templar thing for legs, chronoboost legs ( while all this time pumping zealots) and then attack, this counters early expo, and not bad vs 4gate

  • Um i sometime get 2 gates and 2 pylons then rush 5 zealots is that a bad thing to do?

  • can u pick different colors for protoss??

  • @davidishowiedoo As cool as this could be some cheese is an ok thing, but it's EVERY GAME. That aside this kind of update isnt easy to implement and would get a lot of negative feedback =/

  • @baconman274 haha noob! wait me too :`(

  • its pretty bad when i have to wait for AD's to buffer...=/

  • every 2v2 i play is either omniterran or zerg-toss

  • Going for the most common, high pressure builds as 2 different races is a terrible idea due to the significant difference in timings for some of these builds. A standard 4 Gate hits at around the 5:45 mark. If the Zerg goes 7 Roach Rush, that hits at the 5:00 mark. So there's 45 seconds where both players don't do anything, and that's detrimental to the Zerg with 45 seconds of Roaches doing nothing.

It's best to look for builds that line up timing wise. Usually early pool and proxy gates/rax.
