Got this nest off our asian pear tree in Eugene, Oregon. It was 20 feet up. Waited until winter when the hornets deserted it.

  • @215bgdogg Kick it

  • Bald Face Hornets are not really a hornet, they are a type of Yellow Jacket. We don't have hornets here in Lane County. Heck I don't think we have them in the States. We sure had one heck of a lot of yellow jackets this year in Eugene area. The cats house on the porch had a big nest in the thing. I wondered why the cat didn't get in his house. I picked it up and a cloud of those things came out. I pitched it out in the front yard and ran like mad. Those damn things chased me! Phew, no stings :-)

  • axe,and a match= no more hornet nest :D

  • @csblue or do the fun thing and go to walmart buy a lighter and an aresol hairspray can and torch the damn thing

  • @jjwheeler2222 Haha welcome to the internet elderly folk!

  • I wasn't aware hornets left nests I thought they hybernated

  • "You boys always want us girls to touch everything." LMAO. I don't think I'd go within 10 feet of that thing, even though it's obviously empty.

  • Looks mean and nasty
