This was the most extraordinary theatrical performance I have ever seen. I am most grateful that you've posted this documentary, which many of us who adored the show never had the opportunity to see. I'm sorry the tape ran out as well as I would have loved to see the end. And kudos to you conducting the orchestra for it. What a great privilege and pleasure it must be to have participated in such a significant artistic happening!! Bravo!!

I loved this version of nicholas nickleby that I named my son Nicholas that was 26 years ago.

I'm too young to have seen the original production (I'm a 90s kid) but my parents own the dvd. this is the best performance of anything i have ever seen. I went to a celebration of this production a few days ago as part of the RSC's 50th. Definately one of the highlights of the year!

I do believe this production was one of the highlights of my childhood!!!
Trunddling up to the Aldwych with mother, siblings and friends for the energetic matinées was a hoot!!
