  • I've always heard hot air for sax and cold air for clarinet. But then again, the guy who told me, what could he know; after all he's only been playing for 60 years or so.

  • You begin by using a size 2 reed. Well that's what my band teacher started me on. Now I'm on 3 and a half. Vandoren V12 reeds and I love them.

  • @Bruntern90 no the ppl at the store where i got my reeds said 2 and a half to 3 is for beginners

  • i play trumpet so this is diffrent but not hard i knew all this already from my sister -she played the clarinet C:

  • dont you need to hold a certain key. in a certain part of clarinet assembley
