  • I'm looking at a Classic 20 on craigslist and a classic 30. Any real difference?

  • @thecapitolwasteland I read that Peavey wired the 20 differently then the 30 and you get a different type of tone(20 has more gain) but I have only owned the 20 and I love it for what it is a easy to carry amp with great tone. If I was going to go for a 30 watt i would buy the Peavey Delta Blues 30 imo comes in a 210 and a 115. U can find the 210 @ GC used online @ a good $ and the 115 on ebay or at a store but I like the 210 style. both models have reverb and tremolo. iown the 210 c vids i made

  • @HereMikeWas Oh ok, I'm mailny looking for the best clean tone as i'd probably just use a pedal for gain/drive, for that use whats your opinion for the best peavey amp? Theres a Delta Blues in my are too, the 115 model too.

  • @thecapitolwasteland I replaced the speakers in my Delta Blues and the clean is crisp and bright I like it a lot almost fender like but still has gain. classic 20 has a little colorization to the tone, not bright and clean as say a fender.

  • very nice! hope you can do the distortion demo you mentioned in my vid. I'd love to hear how it sounds with the mods.

  • @gullywoots I will do it tomorrow(in the morning) thanks for the inspiration.

  • I've had one of these since 2004. Play it thru a 2x12 cab. Sounds fantastic. These are hard to find because people don't want to give them up. I recently switched out the 12ax7's for Ecc83's. Gives me more headroom. The ax7's left little room for clean. This lil amp is loud as hell. If you ever get the chance to grab one of these do it. Then don't sell it ever.

  • @joshporter08 thanks

  • sounding good! I like it
