It's pretty close to about $10k by the time you get done... that is including the electronics, and all the related support gear like tools and spare parts.

Can you explain why it smokes like that during the start up procedures?

there was some kerosine in the turbine from a previous failed start, and when the starter motor spun it blew it across the hot section. now that I have it adjusted better I don't get anymore failed starts.
