  • AS YOU COUNT BREATHS I WILL COUNT FARTS

  • @findlaymcarthur Though the focus is on exhaling, inhaling should not be neglected. When you realise the same by farting it could be a strong practice.

  • NEED WE WEAR DARK CLOTHES TO DO ZAZEN?

  • Beautiful instruction!

    Thanks!

  • quieting the mind without force letting thoughts come and go realizing there is no coming and going because mind is empty. Simply returning to basic awareness before thought arises.

  • Finally I found someone that DOES THIS.

I changed my meditation five years ago into this.

I think it just comes naturally to some, but I got tired of counting to ten-then to just four. I change it around SO much that just going to "1" seemed ideal.

  • Jeff Shore is the real deal. His lectures are outstanding, and his retreats are an incredible opportunity to deepen one's practice.

  • In my Zazen I have always counted up to 10 in conjunction with my breathing, as I had been taught to do.

I tried his recommended method of simply counting to 1 as I each time I breathed out, and almost instantly could see an improvement.

    Thanks for posting this.

Unbedingt ihm im zweiten Video "not a state of mind" zuhören.
