Western fence lizards. They stay brown, and act pretty much the same way, except they don't have the color range, and they don't have the big flapunder their chin. i'ts catagorized as a spiny lizard I think. I don't have him anymore.

What is a fence lizard? They look like the anole's all over Florida. I got a baby Nigerian Uromastyx and a baby Australian Water Dragon.
Hey i was wondering if they needed heat to survive. i have one at home and it looks like it sleeps all day. I just caught it and i want to raise it as a pet. could u please tell me wut it needs?

without heat, lizards won't have any energy. without UV light, they get bone disease. are you providing them? also, what are you feeding them (crickets actually aren't the best thing for them. I would suggest mealworms or earwigs instead. also, look up some caresheets for your lizard online. repticzone(dot)com has some that are user submited, but they are pretty good. maybe check out a book at the library for general lizard care too.
