The use of 2 variable resistance Body Bar Flex 'Power' bars with 40 pounds of resistance each enables a person to add movement as well as resistance to an 'abdominal crunch' which can allow a person to strengthen their abdominal muscles in a more effective manner. Each bar is independently controlled but the user controls both of them at the same time which enables this more effective abdominal exercise.
