English presentation

Backhand shot : First, you have to put the puck on the backhand side of your blade. When you will attempt to shot, you must do a weight transfer from one skate to the other. At this time, the puck will slide along the blade and go toward the net. The backhand shot is not as much powerful or as much accurate as the wrist shot but this tactic is a good option when you are on a breakaway because it s more confusing for the goaltender.

Snapshot : The first movement to have a powerful snapshot is to raise the stick behind the body, at the shoulders height. Next the player violently "slaps" the ice slightly behind the puck and uses his weight to bend the stick, storing energy in it like a spring. When the stick blade strikes the puck, the player rolls his wrists and shifts his weight so that the energy stored in the stick is released through the puck. Finally, the player follows through, ending up with the stick pointed towards the desired target.

Wrist shot : First of all, you have to put the puck on the heel side. Then, you have to do a weight transfer. At first your weight should be evenly distributed across your body. As you make the wrist shot, transfer your body weight from your farthest leg to the front leg as you progress through the shot. Ideally you should end up with 100% of your weight on the front leg, with the back leg hanging off the ice as a counter balance. After your shot is taken, keep your eyes focused on your target and point your stick where you want the puck to end.

Hitting : The hit Charles did on Jean-Michel is very dangerous because Jean-Michel could be injured seriously and at full speed could even end a players career. Charles is not done yet. He slams Jean-Michel into the board but this time, he uses the right technique. He hit him with his body. The player will feel the pain but it won't hurt him a lot but sometimes, an hard hit lead into fights...
