Carrie White - Concrete Angel

This is a tribute I've made for the character Carrie White of the book 'Carrie' by Stephen King. One of my favorites ever.

I always felt sorry for Carrie and for me, the song fits her because she was not evil, she just wanted justice and was like an angel, she did not kill everyone at the ball for evil but for anger (and after what they did to her, who would not be angry?). She suffered in school and in home and was very lonely, no one cared about her feelings. Believe, I've suffered bullying and is an awful thing and sometimes, you never get it over. It's sad because people offend, ignore, mock and hurt you without any reason. You feel lonely and you ARE lonely because no one wants to be your friend even if they don't bully you (I don't know if it's because they are afraid of suffer bully too or if it's because they don't want to be seen with you since you are the 'nothing' of the class).

Would you be happy if people treated you like this? No, you would not. So, my point is... Was Carrie the evil one or the people who hurt her without any reason? I've made this because some people I know say that SHE was evil. Plus, I wanted to make an anti-bullying amv too, so it was perfect.

Many people are hurt by bullying and the bullies, when they grow up, they will have social problems also. So, I ask... Why do people tease others that are just a bit different or don't like the usual things people like? Is it fair? No, it's not.

Bullies are evil? No. They have problems or prejudices. When they have problems, they pick someone to feel superior.

So, no one is evil on that matter. The ACTION of bullying is evil and in the end, we all end hurt on that.

Well, anyway, I hope you like this video. I enjoyed doing it.

The scariest part is the fact that everyone can be so cruel to this girl who has it bad enough at home, and unfortunately, people are really like that. I remember going to a pond to feed ducks when I was little with my mother and seeing a duck who was hurt and all the other ducks were attacking it. I remember asking her why they were attacking it when it was hurt, and she tried to explain that animals will do that to another animal who is injured. It's sad but people are the same way.

@kag1985 I agree. Not all animals will do that with others (I know that geese try to help their fellows while flying) but humans always hurt others who are different. It is a sad face of humankind... I was a victim of bullying myself and I used to wonder if I had done something wrong to those people.

Except for my mother my life mirrored Carrie's in school. I felt like we were kindred spirits.

I feel so bad for Carrie. She had to go through bullying and all kinds of terrible things. I just watched that movie a couple weeks ago, and I felt so bad for her. It sucks how people are mean to somebody based on how they look or dress. It's awful.
