I understand what you're saying. David was friends with Lennon and was doing The Elephant Man and was grateful to have a distraction because he was so distraught after John died. I like how David just says he wont comment on it. Nice way of saying, "You fucking bastard! How insensitive of you!"

david was friends with lennon and the interviewer asked him an insensitive question about how his friends death has changed fame for him. the interviewer has no concern for lennon as a real person. its hard to explain what im trying to say but to put it simply the interviewer doesnt view lennon as a real human but as a famous figure sooo blah blah whatever anthony
