A look back at what Melbourne was like in the 1960's and 70's. A series of slides taken in the CBD, Flinders Street Station, The Shrine, St. Kilda, Caulfield and more. Also included are some photos of West Gate Bridge under construction. I hope you enjoy this trip back through time. All images (c) 2010 H. Morris.

  • Born in the 50's this bought back some great memories. I recall a Bowling Alley near The Southern Cross Hotel and a downstairs venue in Flinders Street opposite the Train Station. Can anyone also recall the outside sideshows near Luna Park, next to the Palais?

  • i'm a long time melb history buff and these are fantastic! Amazing how much litter was around back then, melbourne is alot cleaner these days. Truely fascinating..
