Considering the history of slavery and the level of racist ignorance out there, what blacks have achieved is truly a remarkable testament of human spirit. It demonstrates to us all that even in the darkest of times, we as humans can still shine. It's called human spirit and, human spirit is something that racism will never be able to kill.

@IwontConform Ummm... This is utter nonsense. Everything is connected. Rock came from rhythm and blues. Look up the history of African Americans and rhythm and blues. If blues music never happened, the entire unfolding of music would've been very different. Without rock, there may very well have been no Gary Numan sound at all. Gary Numan's genius is not better than anyone else's genius, it's just different that's all. To reduce music to race issues is missing the whole point of it
