I honestly prefer going and playing games that are actually enjoyable without the hassle of online passes or whatever over going on a whiny crusade about some company's shitty business ethics. If I did that, then I'd just make myself look like self-righteous douche with a huge entitlement complex.

What are you talking about? Just because /vr/ talks about retro games doesnt make them nostalgia fags. /vg/ and /vr/ arent that bad, /v/ isnt that bad either it just relies on the people in the certain threads. If you expect a normal conversation in a new released popular video game like Bioshock infinite, well that wont happen. However threads about 3D platformers or Monster Hunter or something are often pretty damn good.
