ok guys, i think its ready in cordon, now i have to make it in some other levels too (in garbage, dark-valley, and agroprom... and maybe in the military warehouses) The only problem is: im not sure if the devs left all the spawnpoints for the deadzne effect in every level... if not, well than i will need someone who can write scripts for them :) I hope Chao7 at gsc can help me out... more infos asap!

What causes the blowouts in the actual story line? Is it an actually blowout in the reactor where one of the fuel rods explode? Because I don't see how that would effect the weather.

nothing to do with the collapsed reactor. these energy blowouts were caused by the generators which later were removed from the story (and the level from the game), but the generator bulbs appear on stancia2 level.

@EdikShepherd According to the background material, they're releases of the psychic energy the C-Conscious taps into. They have to syphon every once in a while because its way too strong to handle.

Though, thats one explanation. The generators are another one and a self-defense system of the zone another explanation.

@WhatTehFux I was referring to the generators. They are not totally removed from the game. You see them from the plant. You actually get a pretty good look from the extra bit in the "secret" ending and the computer you get warped to at the end of that lays the whole thing down.
