I'm wondering if there shouldn't be an updated version of improving one's vocabulary for today's audience. Most people can barely string together a coherent sentence! Sadly though, the expressive, well spoken individual is looked upon as odd or out of touch. I wonder how long it will be before people will revert to monosyllabic grunts!

I don't know very many people who were youngsters in 1948, but I imagine they spoke much better english than young people do today!
