Seadollars is way wrong please check your facts and just because the 3x2 isn't there does not mean it isn't a L88 long block .
-
L88, solid lift, close chamber square port heads, 4 bolt main?
-
cant wait to put mine in something anyone got a 1970 chevelle ss shell for sale?
-
@Jtedd The 6 cylinder was called a "BLUE FLAME" 6.
-
sounds healthy
-
@SeaDollarsBertram You're correct, but they may have just thrown an intake and carb on there to get it running.
-
how much are you selling the engine for.. i have a 1971 chevy nova .. needs a engine and tranny
-
this ain't 435 horsepower. the only corvette motor in '67 that made 435 horsepower was the Tri-Power 427, which had three Rochester 2bbl's on it.
-
@Jtedd and when they had 6 cyl engins (1953-1955) they were equipped with 3 single barrel carbs that produced 150hp (for 1953) and 155hp (for 54 and 55). the only other cars produced by chevy at the time made only 115hp (untill 1955 when the chevy 265ci V8 came out).

Good one -----------
Yep, the 350 came in many HP variations with the highest being the 350HP LT1 in 69. Vettes through the years had everything from 6 cylinders to small blocks and big blocks. Some of the 8 cyl cubic inches were 265, 283, 327, 350, 396, 427, 454

We didn't. The car in the background is a complete #'s matching restoration we did and this motor was one we found at a friends garage. He removed it from a guys car 10 years ago and put an all out race motor in. I'm sure that guy is kicking himself.
