Here we go again...people talking more smack about how they think somebody can't sing. Nick's voice is perfect for blues and rock. If you want a clean metrosexual vocal, see: Michael Buble. The blues are supposed to be deep, growly, and full of soul. Nick nails it, and he's what....only 20 or 21?!!

Definitely fake that Gene was sneaking in. You don't get multicam angles unless there are a lot of cameras in the building. Yes the clapping and cheering has been overdubbed. Not all of it, but it has been added in to the soundtrack. Other than that though, if you take his performance on face value, you'd probably have to agree that he can sing in the blues genre.

@squarejawpublishing Nick really can sing, but yes sorry to ruin it for all yall TV landers out there but ALL of these shows are SCRIPTED and 90% Fake. And i mean ALL "reality" shows not ALL just GSFJ's. Peace, it was fun though and i got my 15 seconds of fame -$DR$
