Lollypop (1995 - Rainbow Arts / Brain Bug) is a platformer where you control a little clockwork girl. She is armed with a thrown lollipop(s) that can be powered up. There is also the camera which is a special weapon with limited uses - when you take a picture there is a flash that kills all enemies on the screen (bosses are exception of course).
Game is big and filled with wonderfull grpahics and awesome music. Every stage (8 in total) and even substages have different set of tiles, backgrounds, enemies and music. Also various strategies are usually required to beat different levels. Generally, to finish a stage, four puzzle pieces must be found to be able to face the boss monster and then defeat it.
Again I am abusing blessing of the emulator - savestates. I am perfectionist so I couldn't stand any deaths and the gameplay is actually better than my true skills (magic of the cinema ;)). However, after recording this longplay I've managed to win the game without any tool assistance ;p
Sadly it's one of those games where you can't have both the SFX and the music at the same time, so I've decided to let you hear how amazing the soundtrack is (of course the sounds are also very good).
List of the video-times for each stage:
01:30 - Toy Factory
09:30 - Underground
18:30 - Rainy Forest
29:25 - Spookville
41:35 - The Mansion
56:55 - The Dreamland
65:05 - Frosty Land
73:45 - Candy Hill
81:50 - The End
If you just want to see the boss fights:
08:30 - Monk the Monkey
17:40 - Bernie
28:37 - The Tree
40:10 - Mama Ghost
55:08 - Magician
63:02 - Closet
72:50 - Ice-Bear
80:36 - Sugar Baby
If you just want to listen the soundtrack, then (in addition to the stage music) there are the substage times:
03:36 - The Container
06:14 - Painter Room
13:40 - Toxic Sewer (short presentation ;p)
16:28 - Diamond Cave
20:05 - Hollow Tree
24:38 - The Cauldron
30:58 - Be My Guest
37:05 - Wishing Well
44:08 / 47:05 - Pots'n'Pans / Winecellar (this is probably the right name)
54:38 - Magic Study (another quickie)
66:50 - Mr. Lunds Iglo
70:35 - Crystal Cave
74:52 - The Cake
Answers before question:
+ some substages can't be accessed before a certain key-item is found
+ bottle with the skull powerup = insta-death
+ 1-ton powerup = can't jump
+ mirror powerup = changes left and right controls only
+ mushroom powerup = totally screwes up the controls
+ when timer reaches 0 one life is lost
+ if death wasn't caused by running out of time the timer doesn't reset
+ I have no idea what's wrong with the time bonus counter after most of the levels
Why don't you record your playthrough as a demo file for the emulator and let the emulator play through it once with music and once with sfx. Then you'd only have to layer the two sound tracks.
Anyway, thank you for this longplay.

@vigidr
Unfortunately WinUAE doesnt have a reliable input-recording feature, otherwise we would have used it ;)
