GOOOOD POINT !! I wondered too about the sensitivity and registry of the touch buttons? Like, is there any heptic feed back ? and the button are too small. hmm grr ! all those screens to lapse into a seizure from :D !

I think most people are going to use the d-pads on the steering wheel or the controls on the touch display. The touch controls are there for the passenger. I have an '07 MKX and use the steering wheel controls for everything. I actually think the Ford designed panel (not the Sony panel) is a superior design interface, but I would rather have the Sony Sound system.

its meant to keep your eyes on the road through voice commands. the climate controls are also available through the touch screen, and voice commands.
