At that time , I was working for Publix Supermarkets , and Publix put together a group of volunteers that went to AL after this massive tornado outbreak to help the stores that were running on generators . Although we only went to the Huntsville/ Owens Crossroads area , I can only imagine what the rest of AL went through cause the destruction we saw it honestly felt like we were driving through a movie set. I was SOO HONORED to have helped those I could , and would gladly do it again.

I live in GA, and I remember this day and how fascinating this tornado was. Something so deadly. This weatherman...he needs an award or something. He cared to make sure his viewers were to be safe. Many weathermen aren't like this. "We're gonna get you through it." I want to shake his hand.

I don't really see why some people are being crappy about this weatherman being upset. He KNEW people were DYING in that thing. I think he did great, and he also showed he CARED about what was going on. For all we know, he may have had family in the area being hit and was worried sick about friends and/or family.
