No doubt the most useful skill as job searcher would be as a master hypnotist; go to bank for one on one interview with bank president for a janitor position and then hypnonize them into being janitor and you becoming bank president or I guess you could skip the job thing and just hypnonize them into getting you a bag of money and signing statement for. the #1 mistake at interview is wearing t-shirt with "I like you so much I'm gonna kill you last" written on it.

Job searching blows.
I tried applying to K Mart & they said they've decided to pursue better candidates.
I spent much of this week applying for jobs since my last temp assignment (which lasted 5 months) ended.
I think for most jobs it's not WHAT you know it's WHO you know.
Most jobs available are maybe part time jobs that only pay minimum to $8.00 hourly.
If you want a full time job with benefits at like a plant or something, you're mostly better off going through a temp service.

Asian restaurants may hire non-asian people as bus boys or waiters. That was my last resort and it worked.

I live in England. I am quite well qualified with lots of experience. I got two knock backs today. One of them was for a company I really wanted to work for - I had an interview but did not make it to the final selection and I'm genuinely gutted! I have applied for 65 jobs over the last 5 months all of which are within my skill range (some way below!). I have had my Resume' reviewed, got tips, registered with agencies/ job sites, done everything I can think of - I just can't get a break!!!

I was told to start a blog. If it's well written and you get readers, it's good for the resume. Shows your writing and comp skills I suppose, and you can apply the blog to any topic related to a job you might want. That's all I got, good luck all

Today's job market sucks ass. I'm 23 and I just graduated from udel, and every job requires years of experience. Been searching non stop for almost the past two weeks, sent out about 15 apps (although a lot were through those online job sites which I don't think are always reliable). It's a fuckin joke lol I want to just do music, but we all know where that will put me...at least at first if that's all I do.
One thing... I'm trying to get some form of a writing or documentation job, and I was
