This has nothing to do with the academy but it's definitely part of Chuck Jeffreys' martial arts/film background.
Chuck started his martial arts training as a kid in the late 60's, but the 70's were definitely his era. The Kung Fu movie era!
Those who knew Chuck back then not only knew him as a martial artist, but also as a guy always talking about being in the movie biz. Specifically the martial arts movie biz... He didn't wait for it to become official.
Here's some mostly unseen experimental and humorous work from Chuck Jeffreys past. It's from 1977 and funny to watch 31 years later. We've got more and may post some of it at a later date.

chuck has been one of the most under rated martial artists of all time. I love the films he actually acts in for more than a scene.
