@freiolivier +1 SQ is the all time overated airlines.........Their regional C or even F products are way below par compare to the other 5 stars airliners.

Flying with Swiss International Airlines was my worst ever aviation experience. Don't even try to complain because the customer service department are unhelpful and even the MD admitted that he had intstructed the organisation to ignore my correspondence.

you obviously missed the apéro and hot meal choice service... there are 3 types of hot meals to chose from in economy: vegi, nonveg-indian, nonveg-western.
in between or together with 2nd service there is ice cream and you get nowadays a hot pizza before landing.
and don't compare swissair with swiss.. it was a different time for the airline industry... you pay less than half for a longhaul ticket than 15 years ago.. so just don't expect to get more than you actually paid for

Know what? You never flew to India with Swiss when you say me that you only became a sandwich! When you fly with Swiss on a longhaul flight you can choose between a vegetarian menu or a menu with meat in economy class for lunch or dinner, and you'll get a nice breakfast with bread, jam, saucages, etc. Swiss has even a better Crew than SQ.

you got only a sandwich (2nd meal, before landing) because you were sleeping during hot meal service
choice of western or indian food.... And by the way, I flew on SQ business class to Singapore. Not as good as expected. Swiss crews do their best with what they have... their good heart
