Placing a ghost box into a microwave (acts as a Faraday cgae)causes limited AM frequencies and no FM frequencies to reach the radio. A sweep of each band is demonstarted in this video. A Faraday cage or Faraday shield is an enclosure formed by conducting material, or by a mesh of such material. Such an enclosure blocks out external static electrical fields. Faraday cages are named after physicist Michael Faraday, who built one in 1836. ufogeek.com

Most convincing results I've heard yet from a "GhostBox".(ie; nothing!) Unfortunately, a microwave shields only a fraction of the multitude of radio waves hurtling around. I understood the thinner the mesh, the more effective in shielding as frequencies oscillate at different sized waves. (I'm no expert, but some research revealed quite a lot). It's actually easy to construct a F/Cage...as long as you insulate the contents inside with rubber. Have a go...
Wait a minute... does anyone else see the comedy in this if it is truly a Faraday cage the radio should not be picking up any frequencies what so ever. I'd say your Faraday cage isn't working too well. Of course the whole Frank's Box/broken radio is possibly one of the top 10 most ridiculous piece of goofiness to come out of the paranormal community.
ive got one of those radio shack radios i have modefied it how you done it and i havent got any results at all and i have been doin this tfree weeks now and no luck can you tell me why?
