Thats a time lapse not a stopmotion!

It started minute bubbling again. It tastes ok, sort of like Bea's which is a horrible mead. Maybe it needs aging. I'm much more pleased with my cherry/blackberry melomel I just racked into the secondary. I have a 3 gallon Med-sweet orange-blossom batch still in primary so I'm hoping that turns out better as well.

All right I'll get it racked. Thanks Will.

didn't look very clear in the end.

@jamesbondaygee Great point. I only did it for a month just so we could see the change. I really couldn't keep it going!! The batch ended up clearing magnificently!

I have two 1 gal. jugs of traditional clover mead with no signs of fermentation after I just racked it the second time. Its Dry but you can taste the sugar. I don't guess my One-Step killed it? (I didn't let it air dry I just poured it out).
I didn't do the OG on this one as it was my first. I have calcium carbonated it twice. It was pH 3.2 nine days ago. Its 18 days old since I pitched the yeast. Do I just let it clarify more?

@lockon It should still be fermenting/clarifying at a slower rate. I would just watch it. I don't think there was enough onestep to have any effect. It might justneed a little time after the racking has stirred everything up.monitor and let me know how it goes

at what point should the airlock stop bubbling? My mead is no longer bubbling at one month. Should I be worried? The Specific gravity is low however. Like 1.010 or something

The progress of your mead sounds about right. The airlock should be pretty still at one month. You should rack it into a new sanitized container to get it off all the sediment. And let it continue to ferment for another month.
