A while back when I did my DW/Tudors opening credits video, I received a message by a very nice person asking if I could do an opening credits for their Doctor Who fanfic/virtual season. And, weeks later (I still haven't totally gotten the hang of AUs), this is the result.
Basically, their virtual season focuses on Rose and the part-human!Doctor, without a TARDIS, deciding that (as they told me) "It may be only one world, but it's a damn big world with many, many stories in which to become embroiled."
So, they may not travel in time and space, but they have a whirlwind life of adventure and fun around the world. Who says being stuck on earth means you have to settle down? ;)
If you miss the URL at the end of the credits, this is where you'll find the fic when it's up and running: http://ever-was.livejournal.com/
I do not own Doctor Who, the travel shows, Secret Smile, Secret Diary of a Call Girl, or Blackpool, nor do I write the fanfic. I just did the dodgy editing. ;)
Oh yeah! Finally. I never could see this video on the LiveJournal sight (maybe because I'm not a subscriber) so I was pleased to find it here and see it, and...it's great! The song is perfect! What a great name for the fiction series (NOW it makes more sense) and I love how light and happy the images all are. I absolutely LOVE how happy they both look in all these clips. The zepplin shot, the scenes from other shows, the vacation clips, the peppering of Dr. Who clips, it all works. Thanks! Fav'd

Thank you very much for that. It was only my second AU video, the first being a trailer for my own fanfic (well, a chapter in it, at least), so this was definitely a trial-by-fire sort of thing, because not only was it an AU, but I also had to go by specific instructions of how they wanted it to look. It was quite challenging! :)

Oh, thank you! I'm so glad you guys are liking it. It did take a while to find all the clips that would work, but in the end I'm glad you guys are enjoying it. :)

Woot! Great job! I love the clips from "The Impossible Planet" -- I've always loved that scene.
Episodes will be going up this week. Yay!

I'm glad you like it! I figured the scene from The Impossible Planet was very fitting, seeing as they were talking about having to settle down and get a house if they got stuck without a TARDIS. :D
