  • I watch scenes like this and i say, "i understand". But an hour later I go back to my boring life and lose that understanding. I admire the Samurai for retaining that understanding for an entire life time. It's good to know somebody in this world holds on to this nature, because if somebody higher than man was watching, he would be please to know we are not all crazy. There is still honor on earth.

  • @sadlobster1

"A perfect blossom is a rare thing...A man could spend his life searching for one and it would not be a wasted life..."

The conclusion Katsumoto reaches at the end "they are all...perfect" symbolizes that the lives of the samurai who died that day were not wasted. This is how I understand the last scene. :)

  • @Verradonairun Earlier in this scene; when Katsumoto mentioned about the perfect cherry blossom, I wondered if there was ever such a thing. Still though; I'd love to see the Sakura trees in Japan all in perfect bloom like Katsumoto did, before he died

  • 悲しいことに、地球はすべての名誉を失いました。

  • @mansonbyslayer so true!

  • @StebanJorge aw...I feel the same way. It's my meditation sound track. I think the whole movie is a meditation itself, very beautiful and subtle, yet a lot of strenght.

  • @zenmachinefilms I couldn't agree more. He had such gravitas in a very graceful and likeable way. He was so natural, and seemed full of wisdom. Tom was greate too.

  • 1つが必ずしも平和を信奉して、もう1つの生命〔生活〕の中への彼自身の方法〔道〕を見つけなければなりません。 Taoの方法〔道〕は、ものの自己内の常に続いている生命〔生活〕への旅行です。

  • A life searching for the perfect blossom would be a life well spent!

  • Sakura in Nihon-go (Japanese language) means Cherry tree blossoms. Admiring nature is inate to Japanese people. The title "Bushido" actually means 'the way of the warrior', it is infact a living code. In this movie, the Samurai commits 'Hara Kari' (Suicide), to a warrior, Bushido is "Death before disgrace". PERFECT, is'nt it ? ? ? ?

  • When I heard that soundtrack, i feel a peace inside
