@ThePeeBottle Do u read Chinese? then you must have seen this Chinese verse,此地無銀三百兩。 For what I know, in 火鍋店 they have a kind of cabbage called 大陸妹，it's just the name of the vegetable, like 空心菜，高麗菜。It's not a term of discrimination, 沒有任何影射的意思。現在這麼多大陸人來台灣短期作學術交流，學­生們之間也是相處得很好，也沒有特地做出不禮貌的事情，大家都是­有讀書的人。我希望妳不要以訛傳訛，對號入座，請真正了解台灣後­在做評論。道聽塗說，散播不實謠言是不道德的行為。

@yumqqbear i know cabbage is a green leafy veg. but like i said before, some people (not all) in taiwan use it as a slang to refer to women from the mainland. since it has become a well-known slang, it shows that many people uses this term.

they use the term "cabbage" because it's "cheap and readily available". women from a country are being compared to produce in a grocery store.

you may not use this term. people you know may not use this term. and that's very nice to know. but the term exists.
