Amira: Urban Fusion: Outta your Mind

Amira in an tribal fusion/hip hop crossover.

Not standard bellydance by a long stretch! This piece was actually created for a very specific purpose. I was asked to perform and speak at a conference for disempowered young women. Each of us were asked to tailor our performance to something more in line with the world these girls lived knew, a chance to take an art that may otherwise be dismissed as irelevant to a different audience. 'Outta your Mind' was born from that .
