A Weekend in Hakone

We went to Hakone for a weekend. It is about 80 min by train from Shinjuku station (Tokyo). Their are many things to do there, we only touched on a few. Cedar forests, black eggs, volcano, pirate ships, tea ceremonies, hiking, etc.

I'll have to keep that in mind! I do like the mountains. I grew up in the Rocky Mountains in Canada. It's nice to get out of Tokyo once in a while.

If I live in Tokyo, I would love & hate it at the same time. It's super cool but way too crowded, and maybe I wouldn't be able to save $ :P

Tokyo is expensive, and it's hard to make good money here compared to working in your own country. (unless you do something other than teach English here. So you won't save much! I got used to the big crowds here pretty quickly.

The forest scene, gives me a feeling that a mob of Ninjas are going to ambosh you at any sec hehehe, & the part at the pirate ship, the funny thing is that Napoleon didnt like the sea
