  • I just got doing the plugs on a 99 v6 explorer. Boy did I get my ass handed to me. There's almost no room on the passenger side unless you go and remove the AC set up. I jacked up the vehicle and took the passenger side tire and splash guards. Once you break it them free I switched to a 1/4" drive ratchet to 3/8" step down. Its smaller and allows more turns. The swivel adapters help out tons. On drive side I remove the smog hose and uses a combo of swivel adapter with a steel braided flex exten

  • @modeyus1984 The older models its kinda hard to reach,but with some maneuvering you will get to it.From the wheel well its more accessible.

  • No,it was very easy you can get them from the wheel well or try under the car use a swivel,extention.
