PART I. THIS IS AN ALTAR WE MADE, PAINTINGS INCLUDED to celebrate not only HALLOWEEN BUT Día de los Muertos which is also celebrated on November 1 which honors children and infants, whereas deceased adults are honored on November 2 by taunting them in their grave. Many people believe that during the Day of the Dead, it is easier for the souls of the departed to visit the living. On our Altar we have a Santa Muerte (Saint Death), also known as La Santísima Muerte (Most Holy Death) and Doña Sebastiana (Lady Sebastienne), which is a religious figure who receives petitions for love, luck, and protection.
