thanks a lot. this solved my problem. i was connected to the internet but the old internet explorer would not allow me to do anything. i called net gear and they wanted me to purchase a years worth of tech. support for a hundred dollars.  they told me that my ip address was not configured, it turns out that i had a bad copy of IE, that was my problem all along. thanks for posting this video.
