This was taken in a sub-urban area of Hong Kong.
Date: 18th of July ,2010, 9 pm。
----------
The video is basically showing a dog who was owned by a restaurant nearby captured by the Hong Kong Government's Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department.
People were screaming and yelling because the staff tightened the dog capturing device on purpose (as I read from articles) The staff said it's normal for such bleeding.
----------
Famous quotation from this video by the staff in this video, "Kwong San Cheun":

"Its normal for dogs to bleed like this."

"Like the police, we are also using AM vehicles. (NOTE: "AM" are the 2 alphabets that you find on government's license plates, meaning these vehicles are owned by the government.) Feel free to write down our license number."
-----------
There's a roughly 10 feet blood line after this dog's taken away.
This made the way to the HK news and papers.

UPDATE. The dog's now taken back by the dog owner.
------------
Animal lovers are going to have a gathering outside of the kennel on 25th of July to protest the cruelty of such act.
This is not the 1st protest, there was one around July to protest the massive murders of animals.
------

I was told that staff give a 4 day period for any dog captured with no microchip before they were sent off to the gas chamber , YES THEY USE GAS CHAMBER in SHENG SHUI DOG KENNEL, OWNED BY THE HK GOVERNMENT.

---

However, what I know is some die right when they went to the kennel.
One were given 1 hour, some a few. hours.

---
Most of the videos about HK government's treatment towards animals are in Chinese so i am writing this up in English so the world can see this.

  • Unfortunately this sub-urban area of hong kong appears to be uncivilised. No civilised society would treat any dog inhumanly.

  • @ifthecapfits1 it happens to even urban parts of Hong kong....

  • Shanghai has just passed a law for one dog only per household to go into effect in May.

  • Hong Kong Government employs a bunch of arrogant, ignorant dicks at the "council level", unlike the cops, who are VERY well-trained, professional and courteous...I don't know why this is.

  • thank you for posting this video. WE should all take a stand against animal cruelty. I own 3 dogs and it's very upsetting to see another pet that has been treated this way.

  • We should apply the same inhumane method on this cruel ignorant man and let the world watch him bleed!
