Bringing therapy and fun to the table.
Twice in October, the cerebral palsy clinic at Children's hosted an all-day,
hands-on demonstration of a new touchscreen tabletop technology developed by a multidisciplinary team from Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital (SRH) and
the Harvard School of Engineering and Applied Sciences (SEAS), that aims to
make therapy fun. Stretching doesn't seem like such a chore if you're
reaching for the keys of a virtual piano, or finger painting broad swaths of
purple and green across an enormous electronic canvas.
