This was a project done by three graduate students at WPI for the RBE501 Robot Dynamics class. The manipulator (a PerformerMK3 5DOF serial manipulator) uses an Expo marker to trace out a path that the user inputs into the system via a Wacom Intuos4 tablet. For this video, the robot is writing out "RBE501" on the whiteboard. We had to speed the video up to 4x, because in real time it takes about 20 minutes to complete.
