@SkeptiGamer More americans should know a lot of things, especially today. Tarot usage is not a priority, I'm afraid. It's just one of those things that is popular in Europe, but not so much here at this time - like certain sports, foods, etc. What I don't get is this whole bitterness about the divination use of the cards.

yeah, so??? Everyone knows that tea leaves, which are used for divination, were not invented for predictions either. I think at this time, most people know the real history of the cards. Some may still be ignorant about it, but in the end, whether people want to use them to play games, pick the winning lotto numbers, or wipe their dog's butt with, who cares? It's a free world.

yes in egypt they were originally game cards and also in europe :3 i did alot of research on this lol but its what people wanna do with these cards :3

@SkeptiGamer Most Americans wont care that they were used for games. I do agree the media should represent it fairly, but they wont.

@AngeloNasios But most Americans already know about them being used for divination because that's all our media will focus on when doing tarot stories. More Americans should know there's another side of tarot.

Ok so it tarot is a card game, tarot is also a divination tool, Tarot is a creative writing tool, tarot is used for meditation, for magick, you can do what you like with it

Tarot game playing is also a modern use. People have not stopped playing tarot or tarock card games. More Americans are also becoming involved in the game playing now because of the internet.
