Thank you for all your great videos! I laugh until I cry watching them. :) My second graders had been doing great on their spelling tests all year, but yesterday we did your silly builds to practice before the test and... 21 As and 1 B- wonderful!

I teach my kiddos to use their bodies when we sound out words! =) They put their hands on their head for the first sound, on their shoulders for the second sound, on their hips for the 3rd, and so on! It's been wonderful b/c if they get stuck on a letter... I can say "What sound did you say on your shoulders (or what's the vowel sound?)" And they almost always can instantly tell me! I love all your ideas! Thanks for sharing and make it fun to teach!
